Description: Non-invasive device that monitors oxygen saturation levels in blood.

ImportantFeatures:

Operating Considerations: Consider devices constructed as features built into other devices (EKG monitors, etc.). Consider durability of probes; disposable probe accessories and/or infection control and related maintenance issues. Device cases should be impervious to infectious fluids, and hardened for field operations. Certain toxic exposures, as well as environmental conditions, can lead to inaccurate readings. Consider devices with commercial over the counter batteries; disposable items may require replacement during protracted incident.

Training Requirements: Core Training: ASTM F1031-22, NFPA 450, NFPA 470 (within medical scope of practice).
Initial Training: Minimal (<1 day)
Sustainment Training: Minimal (<1 day) per certification cycle
