Operating Considerations: Generally used in conjunction with a radiation monitoring program for occupational exposure. TLDs and OSLDs are the primary devices used to determine legal Dose of Record. EPDs may be used for legal Dose of Record determination only if NVLAP accredited. Legal radiological dose of record system must be managed by a trained radiological safety officer.
