Description: Hand-held lights or lights mounted on helmets or otherwise worn by the user for use in non-flammable or non-explosive atmospheres.

ImportantFeatures: Waterproof, drop-resistant.

Operating Considerations: Not for use in explosive environments (see 03OE-04-LTHE for intrinsically safe equipment intended for use in explosive environments).

Consider mounting system compatibility with mission requirements. Also consider battery type, life, and availability, and compatibility with existing batteries or charging systems.
